The preacher stares At waves of red Sublime beauty Seen in his head He seeks the light In the abyss So breathtaking Yet meaningless He wants to know What brought them here But soon his thoughts Will disappear The Megalith Will end his plight He walks away Into the night

They are the ones who say to seek the light But they live in a shadow that brings doubt into my mind If you search in the black for the darkest of truths What will your searching find? People around bow down before a rock And they worship the sea on which the Megalith now lies Though It may be a myth or a truth set adrift It clears the stormy skies They are the people The ones down on Earth They dedicate their lives From death until birth It is their leader Their god and their soul They lacked their own purpose So It took that role Here come the men who strive to save your soul And to leave your old body for a new one in the sky When you give It your heart through your faith and your trust It's given back up high They have a plan to be among the stars If they do what they think the Megalith commands of them They will seek out the root of their unhappiness And cut it from the stem They are the people The ones down on Earth They dedicate their lives From death until birth It is their leader Their god and their soul They lacked their own purpose So It took that role

There's a paradise under Underneath these waves In this land of wonder Can you be so brave There's a paradise under And we'll soon be there Now we join our brothers Up above the air There's a paradise under There's a paradise under There's a paradise under There's a paradise under Under Under Under

Red Waves 01:53
The preacher stares At waves of red But in his eyes The fire's dead He searched for truth In the abyss But holy light Was quite amiss And as the waves Crash on the shore He wonders 'bout Forgotten lore Is anything Quite as it seems Or do we live Inside our dreams
